Québec Autoroutes

Laurentienne Autoroute (A-973)

(not signed as an autoroute)

Southern Terminus : de la Couronne Street/Dorchester Street (R-175) (Québec Arr. de la Cité I) (km 0)
Northern Terminus (as a solo number) : Félix-Leclerc Autoroute (A-40/A-73) (Québec Arr. Charlesbourg IV) (km 4)
Finished in 1963

Note that this freeway is numbered as R-175 to evitate confusion. The southern sector of Laurentienne Autoroute links Downtown Québec City with the A-40/A-73 freeways axis, serving Old-Limoilou, Vanier and Saint-Roch areas. There is a mostly uncommon sign at its southern terminus : The end is announced not by its number (175 nor 973) but by its name (Laurentienne).
Two exits have been built to access Exposition Park, the Capitale Fairgrounds.

In the next years, MTQ will extend to the north Laurentienne Autoroute, to link it with A-70 in Saguenay.
